Electricity supply in The Netherlands is 220 Volts and the connection is made by a two-pin plug. Please be aware that delegates from the USA will require a voltage converter. Delegates from the United Kingdom will require a plug adapter.

Guests & children
In compliance with the Pharma Codes, we are not allowed to register guests (including children) and they can therefore not attend this event. Unfortunately, the EMUC office cannot offer any children’s day care facilities. If parents decide to leave their children in a part of the venue that is accessible without a badge, the EMUC office will bear no responsibility in case of incidents.
The organisers do not accept responsibility for any personal damage. Participants are strongly recommended to arrange their own personal insurance.
The congress will be conducted in English, there will be no translation provided.
Lost and Found
Found items should be returned to the registration desk. If you lose something, please report to this desk for assistance.
During all sessions, please switch your phone to silent and turn off your flash when taking pictures.
Journalists and medical/science writers can obtain a free registration to the congress. Press registrations have to be made through the online registration system (preferred) or onsite at the registration desk. All media operators must show their credentials (press card dated 2017/2018 and original assignment letter). Journalists will receive a copy of the press pack and congress bag, to be picked up at the press centre.

The safety of all congress attendees is of utmost importance to the European Association of Urology. RAI Amsterdam and EMUC have taken security precautions to ensure the maximum possible safety for all EMUC18 participants. All bags may be subject to inspection. Please take all personal effects with you when leaving a session room.
The EMUC congress and the concomitant exhibition have been designated as non-smoking events throughout the entire venue, including all meeting halls, functions, registration and catering areas. All the participants are kindly requested to respect the no-smoking policy for normal and e-cigarettes.
