The Congress

For the first time, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, will host from 8 to 11 November 2018, the 10th European Multidisciplinary Congress on Urological Cancers (EMUC18). Experts from across and beyond Europe will examine dilemmas and best practices in managing genitourinary malignancies.

EMUC18 focuses on the clinical difficulties, current opportunities, advances and future prospects. Now on its 10th year, the EMUC congress series has established its reputation as the leading platform for professional and scientific exchanges. It casts not only a critical look at controversial issues but also examines practical insights in clinical practice of GU cancers.

Drawing from the collaborative efforts of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the European SocieTy for Radiotherapy & Oncology (ESTRO) and the European Association of Urology (EAU), EMUC18 also links up various specialists and healthcare professionals.

The European School of Urology (ESU) offers the Hands-on Training and specialized courses while the EAU Section of Urological Imaging (ESUI) complements EMUC18 with its annual meeting on current developments in imaging.

A parallel and pre-EMUC event is the EAU Prostate Cancer Consensus Meeting on Active Surveillance (EPCCAS) which aims to define the scope, role, impact, and importance of active surveillance management.

Whether it’s a critical debate on innovative treatment, the limits of standard therapies or the impact of new research outcomes,  EMUC18 is a front-line collaborative congress to identify optimal therapies and address gaps in clinical practices.

Amsterdam welcomes you in 2018 for EMUC18!
